Do your sensors use Wi-Fi?
Yes. Our wireless monitoring systems we use in the UK and Europe use 433Mhz and 868Mhz. The benefit this has over a 2.4Ghz frequency is that the radio transmissions can travel further, so power consumption is usually lower.
We also offer a 2.4Ghz system for smaller specific applications. We recommend discussing your options with one of our sales team today.
Can the system have multiple users?
Yes, the wireless monitoring systems we offer have the capability to accommodate multiple users with configurable access rights. Call our team to find out more about configuring multiple system users.
Does the system battery backup?
Yes, all the systems we offer have a 12-hour battery back-up installed as standard. The system will continue to record data, even if your site loses power.
Can I install a monitoring system myself?
We provide a manual with the system, as well as basic support on how to install it. However, as registered experts in this sector, we strongly recommend you use one of our specialists to install any system correctly.

Can I add additional sensors in the future?

How do I connect my system to my network?
All our systems are supplied with an Ethernet cable. So you or your IT department can use it to connect to the network, and then follow the instructions in the installation manual.
If you have used our installation service, our engineer will guide the necessary personnel through the process to get your system up and running.
Can I use a wireless system if I don't have an IT network in the building that I want to monitor?
Yes, a system can be used with a 3G\4G router to create a network, depending on whether you need to adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g. Remote Alarms).
What parameters can I monitor with the system?
The possibilities are almost endless. We can provide sensors to measure just about any environmental condition, either directly or by using third party specialised equipment with 4-20mA or voltage outputs. The most common parameters include temperature, humidity, energy, flow, doors, plant status and pressure.
